On Wednesday, 6th December, 2023, the newly formed Dr. Ambedkar Chair organized and commemorated Mahaparinirvan Day, at 11 am, in collaboration with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Museum and Memorial. It has marked as a first successful initiative by Dr. Ambedkar Chair. The programme presided by Mrs. Sanjivani Mujumdar, the Director of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Museum and Memorial and the Chief guest, Mr. Arun Ghore, a senior writer and journalist, was invited, along with other esteemed guests such as Dr. R. Raman, Vice Chancellor of Symbiosis International Deemed University, and Dr. Ajay Choudhary from Dr. Ambedkar Chair.

The Multipurpose Hall registered the presence more than 150 participant. Mrs. Sanjivani Mujumdar delivered an introductory speech by highlighting the historical insights associated with Dr. Ambedkar and extending a warm welcome to Dr. Ambedkar Chair on this occasion.

Dr. Ajay Choudhary followed with a presentation on the Dr. Ambedkar's Chair, explaining its inception and essentiality for the future of the society. He also emphasized on the potential benefit of chair not only for the students and others but also society at large.

At this prominent occasion, the Chief guest, Mr. Arun Ghore, mentioned about the Dr. Ambedkar's pivotal role in shaping the constitution along with financial and political challenges encountered in his life. He delved into Dr. Ambedkar's struggles, including the Hindu Code Bill, and addressed issues such as unemployment and poverty. The porgramme has been culminated with insightful discussion and felicitation gifts.
