On October 2nd, 2024, the Dr. Ambedkar Chair, SIU, Pune, in collaboration with the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Museum and Memorial, Pune, initiated a cleanliness and hygiene promotion campaign called 'Swachhata Hi Seva 2024'. Students, Ambedkar Museum and Memorial staff, Dr Ambedkar Chair, Dr Ajay Choudhary, and Dr Hemangi Kadalak participated in this initiative. Mrs Sanjivani Mujumdar, the source of inspiration and the Director of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Museum and Memorial, delivered a speech emphasising the importance of clean surroundings for individual and community well-being, highlighting the connection with environmental health.
