The celebration of International Women's Day took place on 8th March 2024 as a collaborative effort between the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Museum and Memorial and the Dr. Ambedkar Chair. Mrs. Mujumdar, the director of the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Museum and Memorial, led the event. It was an event exclusively for female students. Dr. Hemangi Kadlak, who is an Assistant Professor with the Dr. Ambedkar Chair at Symbiosis International (Deemed University), gave a speech on 'The lessons to be learned from the struggles of women who fought for their rights in Europe, and our responsibilities as educated, empowered women.' Following her speech, several students shared their reflections on the topic.
